Seitan is a food made from wheat gluten the main protein of wheat. It has a chewy or stringy texture that resembles the texture of meat more than other substitutes. 

The word seitan is of Japanese origin. Seitan has been documented in China since the 6th century. It was widely consumed by the Chinese as a substitute for meat, especially among adherents of Buddhism.

Suzy has created her own delicious Seitan products mixed with various herbs, spices and legumes.
